Welcome to Football Trak! This guide will help you set up teams, add players, start a game, and track live football stats right away.
Features at a Glance
- Teams – Create and manage your teams

Navigate through the app using the menu bar.
Step 1: Create Your Teams
- Tap Teams in the menu.
- Tap Add.
- Enter team details:
- Team Name (required)
- Location (optional)
- Team Type (Home or Visitor)
- Tap Save.
Your new team will show up in your team list. Tap a team to edit or delete it if you need to.
Step 2: Add Players to a Team
- Open a team from the Teams screen.
- Tap Players.
- Tap Add and enter:
- Player Number (required)
- Player Name (required)
- Position (optional, e.g., Quarterback, Linebacker)
- Mark players as Offense, Defense, and Starters
- Tap Save.
Players you add will now appear in the team roster and be available during games.
Step 3: Create a Game
- Tap Games in the menu.
- Tap Add.
- Enter game details:
- Game Title
- Date & Time
- Location (optional)
- Home Team
- Visitor Team
- Tap Save.
The app will open the Live Game Tracking screen.
Step 4: Track Plays
- Tap the player’s number in the lineup on the left
- Select the action (Passing, Rushing, Receiving, Touchdown, Field Goal, Punt Return, Tackle, etc.)
- Enter yardage when the pop-up appears for Passing, Rushing, Receiving, Touchdown, Field Goal, or Punt Return
- Watch the Play Log update and the scoreboard adjust instantly
Step 5: Swap Players
- Tap the yellow swap icon
- Highlight active players on the field
- Choose 11 offense (green) and 11 defense (red) players
- Swap players anytime during the game
Step 6: View Scores + Stats
- Check the scoreboard for live points
- Review the Play-by-Play Log for every play
- Open Reports to see full team and player stats
- Tap Undo to correct any mistakes
Helpful Tips
- Undo Anytime – Reverse the last action with one tap.
- Substitutions – Use the yellow swap icon to rotate players between offense and defense.
- Yardage Tracking – Football Trak tracks yardage on Passing, Rushing, Receiving, Touchdowns, Field Goals, and Punt Returns automatically.
- Quick Corrections – Tap Undo to remove a play, then re-enter it correctly.
